About China
China is located in east part of Asia, on the western coast of Pacific ocean. China - the extensive country abounding with natural resources. The area of overland territory makes 9600 thousand in sq. km, extent of a shore (without islands) 18000 km. Into structure of territory of China enter more than 5000 islands among which the largest are Taiwan and Hainan.

Southern areas lie in a subtropical and tropical belt, northern areas border on a frigid zone. Various areas of China sharply differ on environmental conditions.
